The Consortium for Globalization of Chinese Medicine (CGCM) was founded in 2003 by sixteen leading TCM institutions through a meeting organized by the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Medicine. Now expanded to 170 academic members and 30 industrial affiliates, CGCM is a global, non-profit, non-political organization dedicated to advancing Chinese herbal medicine worldwide through collaboration among academia, industry, and regulatory bodies for the benefit of humankind.
